Sustainable Table: Regenerative Food and Farming Map

Sustainable Table showcases Australia’s first Regenerative Food and Farming Map, offering industry-wide visibility and fostering connection, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. It links conscious eaters and values-aligned funders with regenerative projects and businesses. The map covers a wide range of regions, sectors, supply chains, and farming practices, and offers valuable insights into the industry's diversity, scale, and potential to policymakers. Producers can apply to have their products and enterprises listed, and the map provides detailed filter and search facilities.

Discover Regenerative: Directory of Producers and Products

Discover Regenerative offers a free directory of regenerative producers and their products. It allow producers to establish trust through industry relationships, credentials and evidence, and showcase their products to values-aligned B2B buyers. Every producer listed has met eligibility criteria that attest to their regenerative journey. B2B buyers can make their procurement more regenerative and build connections with values-aligned farmers. Buyers can search for farmers in a specific area, find products and directly contact producers to start building new supplier relationships.

Mohair Project

The Australian Mohair Marketing Organisation (AMMO) has engaged AHMC to introduce Mohair producers to holistic management practices for their operations, through our support program and our Ecological Outcome Verification monitoring. Our EOV monitoring provides landholders with a report and review so they can make management changes to improve their landscape function. The Mohair producers will work to improve management so their land can be verified 'Regenerating' by Savory EOV QA, our third party verifier. With EOV, the Mohair will be sold under the Land to Market seal, which enables buyers to know that the fibre they are buying is from land that is regenerating. This project is possible due to Future Drought Fund grant secured by AMMO. (Image courtesy AMMO.)

ZQRX Project

20 February 2024 – Australian wool growers are looking below the surface to secure the future of their properties in an Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) pilot through The New Zealand Merino Company's regenerative wool-sourcing programme, ZQRX. AHMC has conducted baseline EOV monitoring of eight ZQRX farms in Victoria, NSW, Tasmania and SA. The first stage of the pilot culminated with an in-depth soil health workshop at Mooralla Merinos in Victoria. See full media release. (Image courtesy of The New Zealand Merino Company.)

Savory Sheep Grazier Project

In 2021 the Australian Holistic Management Co-operative and Deckers (producer of Ugg boots for the international market) began a 5-year project with Australian sheep producers to participate in the regeneration of a collective 400,000 hectares of privately managed grazing lands. The Savory Sheep Grazier Project offered producers professional training, support, and Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) monitoring services valued at more than $10,000 USD annually. When consumers purchased regeneratively-produced boots, Deckers donated towards the conversion of grassland to regenerative farmland through the Savory Institute, supporting the Institute's mission of facilitiating the large-scale regeneration of the world’s grasslands and the livelihoods of their inhabitants through Holistic Management.
