Land to Market Australia is a program run by the Australian Holistic Management Cooperative Limited, which grew out of the 2016 Dubbo Holistic Management Conference. Uniquely, this project is being driven by producers and farmers themselves.
In 2017 we were awarded a grant from Farming Together to establish Land to Market Australia in collaboration with the Savory Institute, and set up a holistic management co-operative. See the Background page for more on the origins of the program and the Australian Holistic Management Cooperative Project.
The establishment meeting of the Australian Holistic Management Co-operative Limited took place on 16 July 2018, and the co-operative was registered by ASIC as NSWC32856 in September 2018. Here are the Rules of the Australian Holistic Management Co-operative Ltd, and if you would like to join us, here is the AHMC Membership Application Form.
The board is comprised of:
Ian Chapman leads the Hooves to Humus (Savory Institute) Hub in New South Wales and is an experienced farmer, primary producer and VET educator.
Brian Wehlburg raise beef cattle guided by a grazing plan developed using the principles of Holistic Management. Brian also teaches Holistic Management courses across Australia.
